The ED100 is an analogue addressable optical smoke detector belonging to the advanced Enea series by Inim Electronics. Operating on light diffusion principles via the Tyndall effect, each unit is identified by a unique factory-assigned serial number, completely eliminating the need for manual DIP-switch or rotary addressing configuration. Supported by Inim’s proprietary Versa++ and LoopMap technologies, the detector automatically enrolls onto the loop, constructs an interactive map of the installation layout for simplified maintenance, and allows fully customizable sensitivity and operating modes to adapt perfectly to environmental conditions.
